Using the innovative Retrospect feature, you can request
data from another date and time in the archive if you need
to look back to a particular period of time to review the

you informed. The product features a robust Alert interface
allowing you to set criteria to be notified of specific
events in your TCP/IP system. Using AJAX, the Alert feature
works in the background, dynamically notifying you visually when a
threshold is reached. An additional visual messaging system keeps
you up to date on messages from both z/IPMon and TCP/IP. You can
optionally set up an email notification for an event as well to

your network traffic? Using z/IPMon’s integrated Packet
Trace facility, you can start, stop and view a packet trace
directly from the AJAX/Web interface. And the data is fully
formatted including breaking out all network headers, color
coded by protocol--even giving you the ability to translate
the data into ASCII or EBCDIC. You can also print the
trace either to a printer attached to your PC, or through
POWER on the VSE system. You can even export and open a trace
in Wireshark! |

integrated Command Interface, you can issue commands
directly to the TCP/IP partitions and receive the responses
